Peterborough and Huntingdonshire

Peterborough and Huntingdonshire was a short-lived administrative county in England.

It was formed in 1965 by the merger of the Soke of Peterborough and the administrative county of Huntingdonshire, both very small administrative counties, in an attempt to make a more viable administrative unit. This attempt was deemed a failure and so the area was annexed to Cambridgeshire in 1974.
