Penetanguishene, Ontario

The town of Penetanguishene in Ontario, Canada is located on the southerly tip of Georgian Bay. Penetang, as it is often called, is a historic community, which was first recognized in 1793 by John Graves Simcoe, through the establishment of a naval base. Incorporated on February 22, 1882, this bilingual (French and English) community has since grown to approximately 8,500 residents.
