Oregano

Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a spicy, Mediterranean, perennial herb, particularly common in Greek and Italian cuisines.

Classification: Oregano is a member of the mint family, Lamiaceae. Marjoram is another species of oregano.

Cuban oregano refers to Plectranthus amboinicus, a tender aromatic perennial succulent, also in the Lamiaceae.
