Ogata Kenzan

Ogata Kenzan (1663 - 1743), originally Ogata Shinsei, and also known by the pseudonym Shisui, was a Japanese potter and painter. He was born in Kyoto and died in Edo (now Tokyo). He was one of the greatest ceramicists of the Tokugawa era.
