census of 2000, there are 217 people, 117 households, and 54 families residing in the town. The population density is 19.3/km² (49.9/mi²). There are 250 housing units at an average density of 22.2/km² (57.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 88.94% White, 0.92% African American, 5.99% Native American, 0.46% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.76% from other races, and 0.92% from two or more races. 2.76% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 117 households out of which 12.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.3% are married couples living together, 3.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 53.8% are non-families. 41.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.85 and the average family size is 2.56. In the town the population is spread out with 14.3% under the age of 18, 2.8% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 40.6% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who are 65 years of age or older.
