Ntare V

Ntare V (1947-1972) was the king of Burundi briefly in 1966. Until his accession, he was known as Prince Charles Ndizi. He deposed his father, Mwambutsa IV but was himself deposed in a military coup led by Michel Micombero and the monarchy ended.
