Noble is a city located in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,260.

Demographics

census of 2000, there are 5,260 people, 1,956 households, and 1,486 families residing in the city. The population density is 162.2/km² (420.1/mi²). There are 2,134 housing units at an average density of 65.8/km² (170.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 90.30% White, 0.19% African American, 4.87% Native American, 0.25% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.38% from other races, and 3.99% from two or more races. 2.74% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,956 households out of which 40.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.5% are married couples living together, 13.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 24.0% are non-families. 21.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.03. In the city the population is spread out with 28.6% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 31.5% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years. For every 100 females there are 92.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 85.9 males. The median income for a household in the city is $35,250, and the median income for a family is $40,533. Males have a median income of $30,417 versus $23,690 for females.
