Neman River

The Neman (Lithuanian Nemunas, Belarussian Nyoman, Polish Niemen, German Memel, Swedish Njemen) is an important Eastern European River rising in Belarus and flowing 937 km through Lithuania before draining into the Baltic Sea near Klaipeda. Part of the Neman was the border between Province of Prussia (today Kaliningrad oblast, Russia) and Lithuania

The largest tributary is river Neris(Viliya).

The largest cities by Neman are Hrodna (Belarus) and Kaunas (Lithuania).
