Muriel's Wedding is a 1994 Australian movie written and directed by P. J. Hogan and starring Toni Collette as the character Muriel.

Muriel is a woman who has dreams of getting married but has a hard time to find a man to date. To make a change in her life, she steals some money and goes on vacation with a friend and changes her life forever.

The song is noted for its use of the songs of ABBA.
