Mound Township is a township located in Rock County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 257.

Geography

United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.8 km² (35.8 mi²). 92.5 km² (35.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.33% water.

census of 2000, there are 257 people, 92 households, and 77 families residing in the township. The population density is 2.8/km² (7.2/mi²). There are 95 housing units at an average density of 1.0/km² (2.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 96.89% White, 0.39% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.72% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 3.89% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
