In Greek mythology
, there were two people called Medon
- A Ithacan herald who was polite towards Penelope when all of her suitors were rude. He was spared by Odysseus, who killed the rest of the suitors.
- Stepbrother of Ajax and son of Oileus. In the Trojan War, he took over Philoctetes' army after Philoctetes was bit by a snake and left on Lemnos because the wound festered and smelled bad. Medon was killed by Aeneas. (Iliad II, 727; XV, 332)
