Mario Dumont

Mario Dumont is a Quebec politician and the leader of the Action démocratique du Québec.

He was the former youth leader of the Quebec Liberal Party but supported sovereignty. With the right wing vacant in Quebec since the end of the Union Nationale Party, he started his ADQ which was formed after the 1989 Quebec election

Dumont has been elected to his seat 3 times, in 1994, 1998, and again in 2003, when he was joined with 3 other MNA's
