Mac Collins

Michael Allen "Mac" Collins (born October 15 1944), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 19, representing the 8th District of Georgia. He was born in Jackson, Georgia, served in the Georgia National Guard, and was a business owner and member of the Georgia Senate before entering the House.

Collins is a candidate for the Republican nomination for the Georgia Senate seat left vacant by the retirement of Democratic Senator Zell Miller.
