Lonely Mom

Lonely Mom (Ensamma Mamman in Swedish) is a well-known comic strip created by Cecilia Torudd which appears in Swedish newspapers. Lonely Mom saw the day of light in 1985 where it did a guest appearance in Dagens Nyheter It was well received by the readers and it returned in 1987 as a fixed feauture. The strip was syndicated at Bull in 1991 and was rerun in many news papers. Ensamma Mamman deals with a single mother and her two teenager children, her 14 year old son Beppe and her daughter Mia, 17 years old.

Ensamma Mamman received the Urhunden Award by the Swedish Association for Promotion of Comics, in 1989.
