Lombard Street, San Francisco

Lombard Street in San Francisco, California is known as the most crooked (winding) street in the United States. Located between Hyde and Leavanworth Streets, it was built in the 1920s to accomodate the steepness of the slope. The street is one-way, downhill only, for traffic.
