Lee P. Brown is the current mayor of Houston, Texas. He is currently on his third and final term.
Lee Brown was first elected mayor on December 6, 1997, and sworn in on January 2, 1998. He had been re-elected to the mayor's post in 1999 and in 2001. He is married to Frances Young, a teacher in HISD.
