census of 2000, there are 312 people, 157 households, and 94 families residing in the village. The population density is 293.8/km² (752.2/mi²). There are 167 housing units at an average density of 157.3/km² (402.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.40% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.60% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.60% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 157 households out of which 21.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.3% are married couples living together, 3.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 39.5% are non-families. 39.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 22.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.99 and the average family size is 2.63.
