Lamlash

Lamlash is the secondary village (after Brodick) on the Island of Arran, situated in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. It has traditionally been the second most populated village on the island after Brodick, although in recent years its population has been bigger.

It is located on the southern half of the island, some five miles to the south of Brodick and three miles to the north of Whiting Bay, and sits on a bay in which the Holy Isle is located.

The village's main industry is tourism, much like the rest of the island. The only secondary school and only hospital in Arran are located in Lamlash.

Lamlash's population was 1,010 in the 2001 Census.
