Lakeview is a town located in Riverside County, California. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,619.

census of 2000, there are 1,619 people, 476 households, and 392 families residing in the town. The population density is 192.9/km² (499.8/mi²). There are 528 housing units at an average density of 62.9/km² (163.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 67.51% White, 0.86% African American, 2.72% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 23.35% from other races, and 5.13% from two or more races. 43.73% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 476 households out of which 40.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.1% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 17.6% are non-families. 12.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.40 and the average family size is 3.72. In the town the population is spread out with 32.7% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 9.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 33 years. For every 100 females there are 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 97.5 males. The median income for a household in the town is $46,141, and the median income for a family is $46,941. Males have a median income of $39,355 versus $27,813 for females.
