Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway

The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway is a heritage railway in Cumbria, England. The line runs from Haverthwaite via Newby Bridge to Lakeside at the southern end of Lake Windermere.

The railway is a branch line of the Furness Railway. "FR 20" is Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam locomotive. There is a train - boat connection which was established in 1868 by Furness Railway.
