Kombucha

Kombucha is a cold, sometimes carbonated drink. It apparently "cleanses and refreshes your body and soul" and "contributes to an overall feeling of well-being."

Its first recorded use was during the Tsin Dynasty (221 BC).

It is produced by fermentation using lactobacilli and yeast cultures, and contains essential organic acids.
