census of 2000, there are 597 people, 223 households, and 179 families residing in the village. The population density is 41.3/km² (106.9/mi²). There are 242 housing units at an average density of 16.7/km² (43.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.16% White, 0.34% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.34% from two or more races. 0.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
