Kimberling City is a city located in Stone County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,253.

census of 2000, there are 2,253 people, 1,045 households, and 760 families residing in the city. The population density is 260.4/km² (673.6/mi²). There are 1,236 housing units at an average density of 142.9/km² (369.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.91% White, 0.22% African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.27% from other races, and 0.89% from two or more races. 1.11% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,045 households out of which 17.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% are married couples living together, 4.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.2% are non-families. 24.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.16 and the average family size is 2.50. In the city the population is spread out with 15.1% under the age of 18, 4.1% from 18 to 24, 18.9% from 25 to 44, 29.0% from 45 to 64, and 32.9% who are 65 years of age or older.
