1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 19.2 km² (7.4 mi²). 16.3 km² (6.3 mi²) of it is land and 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 14.84% water.


\nAs of the
census of 2000, there are 717 people, 280 households, and 182 families residing in the town. The population density is 43.9/km² (113.7/mi²). There are 394 housing units at an average density of 24.1/km² (62.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 72.11% White, 0.28% African American, 0.00% Native American, 10.32% Asian, 4.04% Pacific Islander, 0.70% from other races, and 12.55% from two or more races. 3.35% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 280 households out of which 36.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.4% are married couples living together, 10.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.0% are non-families. 25.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.56 and the average family size is 3.04. In the town the population is spread out with 26.1% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 33.8% from 45 to 64, and 6.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
