Junior is:

• A student in the third year and above of high school or college.
• A child.
• A low-level position.
• The younger of two people with the same name (e.g., Ken Griffey, Jr). They may also be called II, especially if there's a third or fourth with the same name.
• An informal term used to contrast the inexperience of an individual compared to an experienced one.
• A nickname for George W. Bush.
• In Fraggle Rock, the name of the Gorgs' son.
• The name of the child character in the movie Problem Child.

The opposite is senior.
