Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach

Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach (17321795), the ninth son of Johann Sebastian Bach, was born at Leipzig, Germany, studied at the St. Thomas school and the university there, and in 1750 was appointed capeilmeister at Buckeburg. He was an industrious composer, especially of church-music and opera, whose work reflects no discredit on the family name.
