Joey Santiago was the lead guitarist and along with Frank Black/Black Francis co-founder of late 80s/early 90s alt-rock group The Pixies.
After the breakup of The Pixies, Santiago went on to make guest appearances on Frank Black's solo albums and perform with Dave Lovering (also an ex-member of The Pixies) in The Martinis.
