Jean Hill

Jean Hill

Jean Hill (1931 - November 7, 2000) was a witness to the John F. Kennedy assassination. She was known as the 'Lady in the Red Dress' because of the long red dress she wore that day, which was captured on the Zapruder Film. She was present (along with friend Mary Moorman) on the grassy knoll and was one those closest to the car when the shots were fired. She thought of herself as a survivor after many of the other witnesses to the assassination died shortly thereafter under mysterious circumstances. Although some accused her of changing her story after in the decades following the shooting, this is almost without basis
