Hosokawa Katsumoto(細川 勝元 1430-1473）.Japanese Lord (Shugo Daimyou) in Muromachi Period. One of the Kanrei, a butler of AshikagaShogunate.
He fought with Yamana Souzen, other Shugo Daimyou, from 1467 to 1473. But they did not win a victory each other. That Battles call Onin War.
The famous temple Ryouanji, Rock Garden, was built by Katsumoto.
