Hooperman

Hooperman was an ABC television series starring John Ritter, 1987-1988 two year season run. Genre known then as dramedy a combination of drama and comedy. Mr. Ritter played a San Francisco plainclothed policeman. The show was filmed rather than taped, i.e., better production quality. The brainchild of Steven Bochco ("Hill Street Blues", "L.A. Law", "NYPD Blue"), the show was good-natured and often quite funny.
