Harry Heilmann

Harry Edwin Heilmann (August 3, 1894 - July 9, 1951) was a professional baseball player.

Heilmann played 17 seasons in the outfield, mostly with the Detroit Tigers, from 1914 until 1932. Heilmann was an outstanding hitter, hitting over .400 in 1923 and carrying a lifetime batting average of .342 (12th all-time).

Harry Heilmann was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1952.
