Gresham College

Gresham College was founded in 1579 by Sir Thomas Gresham who also founded the Royal Exchange in London. It is in Gresham Street EC2. It was an important intellectual centre and hosted the delivery of public lectures on Divinity, Music, Astronomy, Geometry, Physics, Law and Rhetoric. Christopher Wren gave the lectures on Astronomy.

It continues to provide public lectures to this day.
