census of 2000, there are 640 people, 237 households, and 186 families residing in the town. The population density is 6.3/km² (16.4/mi²). There are 273 housing units at an average density of 2.7/km² (7.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 92.34% White, 0.00% African American, 6.25% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.41% from two or more races. 0.47% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 237 households out of which 37.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.8% are married couples living together, 5.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.1% are non-families. 16.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
