George Washington University

George Washington University is a private university in Washington, D.C, founded in 1821 as The Columbian College.

Undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered in arts and sciences, medicine and health science, law, engineering and applied science, education, business and public management, international affairs, and public health. Total enrollment in Fall 2002 was 19,206.
