Frosta

The municipality Frosta in the county of Nord-Trøndelag, Norway, has 2,445 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002.

Norway's oldest court, Frostatinget, had its seat here, close to the mediaeval church at Logtun, and on the island of Tautra can be found the remains of a Cistercian abbey, established in 1207.

Agriculture makes up the largest industry in Frosta, with an area of 75 square kilometres and 2,430 residents, the smallest county in Nord-Trøndelag.
