Foxfire is a village located in Moore County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 474.

1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 7.6 km² (2.9 mi²). 7.4 km² (2.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.05% water.


\nAs of the
census of 2000, there are 474 people, 222 households, and 172 families residing in the village. The population density is 63.8/km² (165.4/mi²). There are 324 housing units at an average density of 43.6/km² (113.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.31% White, 1.27% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.42% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.05% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 222 households out of which 12.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.9% are married couples living together, 2.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.1% are non-families. 19.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.14 and the average family size is 2.40. In the village the population is spread out with 11.0% under the age of 18, 3.0% from 18 to 24, 15.4% from 25 to 44, 22.8% from 45 to 64, and 47.9% who are 65 years of age or older.
