Foo Fighters (album)

Foo Fighters is the Foo Fighters' debut album. It was released July 4, 1995 through Roswell/Capitol Records.

Though he formed a band after the album was recorded, virtually the entire album was recorded by Dave Grohl. Grohl had been recording his own music for years, releasing a cassette called "Late!" during his time in Nirvana. The album was recorded by Barrett Jones, in Jones' basement, where Grohl had recorded previous demos.
