Fame is the a movie (directed by Alan Parker) and the spin-off TV series, which were popular during the 1980s.

The main storylines of both the film and the series were the similar: teenagers were followed through their studies at a New York high school for performing arts.

Fame is also a song whose name was the title track for the TV series. It was performed by Irene Cara, who played the role of Coco Hernandez in the movie.

Fame is also a reality television talent-competition broadcast on NBC. The winner of the first season was Harlemm Lee.
