Energie Cottbus

Energie Cottbus is a German soccer club, promoted to the Bundesliga in 2000. Trained by former East-Germany coach Eduard Geyer, Cottbus played three seasons on the highest level, before being relegated at the end of 2002-2003 season. A key player was Vasile Miriuta, an imaginative midfield player whom almost by himself was responsible for promotion.
