Edouard Vuillard

Edouard Vuillard (1868 - 1940) was a French painter & printmaker.

In his twenties he was a part of Les Nabis, a group of young artists committed to creating work of symbolic and spiritual nature. Other Nabis include: Pierre Bonnard and Maurice Denis.

His subjects were mainly domestic interiors and later in life large decorative panels depicting landscapes.
