Dodge is a town located in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 414.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 55.4 km² (21.4 mi²). 55.4 km² (21.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 414 people, 160 households, and 116 families residing in the town. The population density is 7.5/km² (19.4/mi²). There are 176 housing units at an average density of 3.2/km² (8.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is: one Asian, and everybody else white (including one Hispanic or Latino).

There are 160 households out of which 35.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.5% are married couples living together, 5.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% are non-families. 23.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.59 and the average family size is 3.08.

In the town the population is spread out with 27.3% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37 years. For every 100 females there are 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 95.5 males.
