Deinotherium

Deinotherium was a prehistoric proto-elephant that lived until the Pleistocene. It's range covered parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe. It largely resembled modern elephants, except that it's trunk was not as long, and it had downward curving tusks attached to the lower jaw.
