David Hope

Dr David Hope is the current Archbishop of York, in the Church of England, and has held that position since 1995. Before then he was the Bishop of London.

Peter Tatchell claims that Hope is gay. In 1995, he called a press conference and said that his sexuality is "a grey area", and that he had "sought to lead a celibate life" and is "perfectly happy and content".
