Anderson is currently a Liberal member of the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Victoria since 1993, and a member of Cabinet. He was also the member from Esquimalt-Saanich in 1968 Anderson has been a Counsel, environmental consultant, foreign-service officer, professor, public servant. Anderson has served as Minister of National Revenue, Minister of Transport, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, and is now Minister of the Environment.
Other political experience
Anderson was the Liberal Party of British Columbia member of the legislative assembly from 1972 and 1975 and was the leader of the party from 1972 to 1976.
