Dark Side of the Spoon
The Dark Side of the Spoon is an
album by
Ministry, released on
June 8,
1999. There are two theories behing the title, the most popular seems to be that it's a parody of
Dark Side of the Moon by
Pink Floyd. The other however is that Paul Barker offered himself, that it is a reference to the blackened or dark side of a spoon when heated to dissolve
heroin, the band suffering from addiction of said substance at the time.
