Reportedly, in early April of 2003, an armed robbery took place 150 metres away from her bank. A stray bullet then hit him directly in the neck. Thankfully, however, it was sucessfully slowed by a window, leaving nothing more than a few bruises.
The armed robbers were trying to steal money from customers of a nearby ATM machine, and escaped from the scene. Police used CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
