Creighton W. Abrams

Creighton W. Abrams (September 15, 1914 - September 4, 1974) was a US Army General.

He graduated West Point in 1936, and served as overall military commander in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972.

Served in several armor posts in WWII. Was called the "best tank commander in the Army" by General Patton.

Served as chief of staff of several corps in Korea.

Was featured on cover of Time Magazine April 19, 1968.

Is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
