Craven Cottage

Craven Cottage is the name of the home ground of FA Premier league football team Fulham F.C since 1896.

Presently consists of these 4 stands:

Planning permission has been granted for the development of a 30,000 All-Seater stadium at this site, although a local pressure group of 11 people have managed to delay the rebuilding process.

The last first team game to be played at Craven Cottage was on April 27th 2002, before relocating to QPR's ground, Loftus Road for two seasons, when Fulham intended that its new stadium should be complete.

In 2003, Fulham abandoned plans to build a new stadium at the Craven Cottage site. Instead, the club decided to convert Craven Cottage to an all-seater by bolting rows of seats onto the existing standing terraces. Craven Cottage is now scheduled to reopen for the 2004-05 season. Fulham is now seeking a different site within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham to build a new stadium, and intends to keep Craven Cottage open until the new ground is completed.
