History

In 1990 Connah's Quay became founder members of the Cymru Alliance positioning them for admission to the League of Wales on its formation in 1992. Nomads reached the semi final of the Welsh Cup in 1993 but lost 1-2 to Rhyl F.C on aggregate. They went one better in 1998, going to extra time but the Nomads lost out to Bangor after leading for a long spell.

The Nomads recently left their long-time home at the Halfway House - a ground that hosted football as far back as the 19th century - for a new ground at Deeside College.
