Conley is a town located in Clayton County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 6,188.

census of 2000, there are 6,188 people, 1,968 households, and 1,505 families residing in the town. The population density is 1,250.9/km² (3,234.2/mi²). There are 2,053 housing units at an average density of 415.0/km² (1,073.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 34.34% White, 52.86% African American, 0.31% Native American, 4.75% Asian, 0.26% Pacific Islander, 6.06% from other races, and 1.42% from two or more races. 10.46% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,968 households out of which 42.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.2% are married couples living together, 28.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 23.5% are non-families. 17.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.14 and the average family size is 3.49. In the town the population is spread out with 32.9% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 31.9% from 25 to 44, 18.9% from 45 to 64, and 6.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 29 years. For every 100 females there are 94.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.5 males. The median income for a household in the town is $31,478, and the median income for a family is $32,922. Males have a median income of $24,817 versus $24,289 for females.
